"Tomorrow...You're Only a Day Away!"
Yep, tomorrow is induction day, and it couldn't come soon enough. I AM SO DONE! But since I'm being induced, I'm a little nervous about it taking too long or the possibility of a C-section. So, I'd appreciate any prayers and luck our way. I'll be back in a couple of days to post lots of pictures and to introduce the new member of the family!!!

Dance, Dance (cont.)
Well, it did stir things up a little bit. Last night, at about 11:00pm, I started noticing some contractions. We counted them for an hour at 5 min. apart. This was very consistent with my labor with Bennett, so I assumed that this was it. NOPE!

So Happy!
I am going to gloat a little bit and tell you all that I have something awesome that only few people could boast! I have the best ward in the world. I know, I know...you all think that you do or that there is no such thing, but there is and I have it. Now, I do need to say to my friends in Naperville that they are awesome and we miss that ward tons. But the reasons that I have the best ward ever is first, we have had the best support system through this difficult time, second, they truly define the words ward family (especially since we are away from family), third, they just pitched in some money to get us this stroller and baby car seat.

Happy Halloween!
Halloween was awesome! We went over to E's school teacher's house. She invited us to dinner and offered to take the boys Trick or Treating while I got to stay there and relax. It made it really nice since Gavin was out of town this week and I REALLY didn't want to take them out by myself...being 36 weeks pregnant.

Gavin and I like Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother (sometime a little risky), Heroes (but they're getting a little weird), and The Office.

Last 4 Weeks!
I had my doctor appointment yesterday, and I love my doctor. Because my due date is the day after Thanksgiving, and neither he or I want to be in the hospital around Thanksgiving, he set up an induction date.

Teaching Opportunity!
Gavin and I have finally taken E to spend his $20.00 from his birthday money. While we were at Costco he saw the new Iron Man costume and wanted that. Gavin and I decided to take this as, like the title says, a teaching opportunity.

Firehouse Field Trip!
E's school had another field trip this month...this time to the fire station! Last year we had a blast going downtown to the firehouse museum, but this year we got to go to the local firehouse. The firefighters showed us their kitchen, bedroom, and their gym and explained how they live there every third day for a full 24 hours. The best part was going out to the garage where they showed the trucks, let them climb inside, and had one of them dress in full attire so the kids could see what they look like.

Pumpkin Patch!
E's school had such a great time at the pumpkin patch last year, that we went to the same one this year! Gavin and I were so excited because we had such a great time last year and was such a wonderful experience. And as you can tell, the boys really enjoyed themselves.

Update!
Well, the old phrase, "No news, is good news," doesn't apply to our situation. Unfortunately, Gavin and I have nothing of interest to report on the job front...or really in any area. Every time I call family or friends, I get frustrated that I don't have anything good to report. Not the Gavin hasn't heard anything. He's had some phone interviews and one actual interview, but so far, nothing has come of it.

Harry Potter "NO"vember!
For us Harry Potter fans, we have been waiting anxiously for the fall, but November 21st is no longer the movie release date for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. They've just announced that it's now being pushed back to July 17, 2009. There have been no delays on filming or editing. The film would be ready for November release, but they have decided that a summer release is more beneficial to them.Now I'm not a complainer, but what the crap? I don't mind waiting for things, but 8 months is ridiculous.

Baby Name Revealed!
Okay, before you read what the name is, I want everyone to read this. The reason I didn't post the name earlier is because I didn't want someone say, "Oh, my sister just named her baby that!" or "I grew up with a guy named that." and so forth. I'm the type of person that if I hear the name too much, I start to hate it. It took Gavin and I a long time to actually agree on a name, and now that we're pretty sure that this is it...I don't want to hear it so much that I hate it.

Tile...it feels so good!
For those who don't know the story, when we moved into our home the only thing that bothered me about the house was what the previous owners had put up for a back splash...vinyl tiles that are sticky on the back. These tiles are meant for the floor, so the tiles would constantly fall off the wall. So, to remedy the situation, the previous owners got some Trim & Molding Glue (for putting up baseboards and crown molding) and glued the ones the would repeatedly fall. I looked awful, and some pieces were still falling off. And one day it was all too much. Gavin and I always knew that we were going to put up a better back splash, and I was tired of all the falling "tile", so I tore it off. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of the previous back splash, but here's what the wall looked like after.

Projects and more projects!
Since our house is going on the market...there are things to be done. We've done landscaping, installed a ceiling fan, tiled the back splash in our kitchen, we're getting ready to paint 3 rooms plus touch-ups throughout the house, and then we still have more landscaping after that. Once the projects are done, then we have to clean and organize everything all over again.

Family Reunion!
Gavin's side of the family hasn't had a reunion for about 5 years, so this great. We had such a good time with all the food, games, and socializing...but the only thing I managed to take pictures of was of the boys with their cousin!

Back Home!
Well, for those of you who were wondering, our flight home went without a hitch, in fact, it went better than expected. It was a welcomed change compared to my other flight experience. The boys did great, the flights were short, and Gavin, as always, was so helpful when we got on and off. I didn't mind traveling without him when it went so well. I don't know, maybe it seemed so well because of what I had to compare it to.

Ouch!
Bennett bit through his lip! Right before we went up to the cabin...he slipped and bit through. Amazingly...he didn't cry very long, it didn't bleed too much, and it's healed really fast.

10 Random Things!
Sorry it took my so long to post this one. With family in town for a week, normal routine gets shut down. So here they are.
Kings Island!
Gavin's mom is a real roller coaster fanatic, and we only live 15 min. from Kings Island. Perfect combo! So, on Memorial Day, they set of to the park. The weather was supposed to be severe thunderstorms, but nothing ever happened. That may have kept the crowds down, so it was the perfect day to go.

Hooray!
Finally, Gavin and I have a grill, a Weber Genesis 310. Gavin's parent's came into town this week (hence the no blogging) and we've had a blast. Gav's birthday isn't until July, but since they were here they decided to get it for him now. Happy Birthday Gavin! We made burgers and steaks the very next day and they were perfect. My mother-in-law makes the best steaks ever. We are so happy to finally have a grill. Now Gavin can save me from working with raw meat and cook it on our NEW GRILL!!!!!!!
