E's school had another field trip this month...this time to the fire station! Last year we had a blast going downtown to the firehouse museum, but this year we got to go to the local firehouse. The firefighters showed us their kitchen, bedroom, and their gym and explained how they live there every third day for a full 24 hours. The best part was going out to the garage where they showed the trucks, let them climb inside, and had one of them dress in full attire so the kids could see what they look like.Friday, October 10, 2008
